Pentair is showcasing its latest innovations and integrated solutions at the 2016 food & drink technology Africa trade fair and conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, September 14-15, 2016. There is greater demand for local food & beverage processing in Africa than ever before, and food & drink Africa will bring together key players and decision makers to connect and exchange ideas and experiences from the full process chain of the food and beverage industry.
At the trade fair, Pentair will feature its diverse portfolio of products, integrated solutions and services in food and beverage processing as well as advanced filtration. Pentair’s Food & Beverage Processing solutions include hygienic and aseptic mixproof valves and hygienic pumps, membrane technology for beer filtration and membrane technology for water purification, and continuous beverage processing; carbon dioxide (CO2) systems, quality control equipment, microfiltration products, and biogas upgrading equipment. Attendees will be able to learn how Pentair’s innovations can help food and beverage producers increase yield and minimize resource use—including reducing energy and water consumption—while providing maximum flexibility and quality assurance.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Pentair during the Exhibitor Forum on September 14. Pentair’s Business Development Director for Africa, Emmanuel Rurema, will present “Best practices of using Quality Control instruments to improve energy efficiency in production and reduce product losses,” while Marco van de Ven, Pentair Product Manager, will present on the topic of “Biogas Upgrading Systems – Innovative Solutions to optimize the energy efficiency of a factory by turning the production waste into Green Energy.”
