Team Pentair in Action
Pentair’s dedication to helping customers around the world reduce, recover, and reuse water was on display recently through the efforts of Team Pentair volunteers.
More than 80 employees from four Pentair facilities in the Twin Cities area helped clean a historic section of riverfront along the Mississippi River. Team Pentair worked with Minnesota Twin Brian Dozier and the Minneapolis Parks Foundation, a Pentair Foundation grantee, at the site, which is being developed as an innovative public space that will help protect the river, provide recreation opportunities and highlight historic features.
The Mississippi River is an important water source for the metropolitan area, and Pentair technology cleans the water from the river as it flows to the homes and businesses of more than 500,000 Twin Cities residents.
Team Pentair regrouped that evening at the Target Field for a Twins baseball game. Pentair is the official sustainable water provider of the Minnesota Twins and Target Field.
“It’s fun to do things together and do good things for the community,” said Martha Stimart, senior HR generalist at Pentair’s Flow & Filtration facility in New Brighton, Minnesota. “The whole event was a 10. I’d definitely do it again.”
During the game, the nearly 30,000 Twins fans in attendance watched a Team Pentair video that highlights our innovative technologies and the community service of our employees.
