On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti from an epicenter located 10 miles southwest of the capital, Port-au-Prince. Over 220,000 people were estimated to have died and over 3,500,000 people in total were affected by the earthquake.
Pentair was one of the first partners to team up with organizations Action Against Hunger and Water Mission in support of those organizations' disaster relief efforts in Haiti, which allowed them to mobilize and respond immediately to the crisis.
It’s official! The separation of Pentair’s Water and Electrical businesses into two publicly traded companies is now complete.
